ABOUT
Notch Design was created by a husband and wife team, Liz and Fabian, in 2017. Liz has a background in design, having studied Industrial (product) Design at Victoria University and has taught at several Secondary schools in this area. Fabian has acquired an understanding of machinery and an attention to detail from his time in the Royal New Zealand Airforce. GLASSWARE
Personalised glassware for weddings, birthdays or gifts. Provide an image of what you would like and we will be able to make this happen. The types of glassware we can engrave range from small shot glasses, white and red wine glasses, pilsner glasses and large beer handles. Previously we have etched family crests onto whiskey glasses and logos onto essential oil diffusers.
JEWELLERY
Rimu and plywood hand painted jewellery. We have a selection of affordable pieces on line or design your own unique piece. We are able to personilise your jewellery for you by altering the shape, colour and size. Provide us with a drawing and we may be able to make exactly what you want.
ENGRAVING
Engraving onto metal, glass, acrylic, anodised aluminium, stainless steel, plywood, pine and rimu. We provide a professional engraving service. Previously we have engraved glassware, aluminium business cards, stainless steel coffee plungers, pine signage and plywood boxes. You supply the product you would like engraved or choose from one of the products we provide. All engraving can personalised to include the text and images that you want.
TAGS
Bag tags - are you travelling soon and want to be able to identify your luggage easily? Pet tags - do you want you cat or dog to be easily identified? We supply durable metal tags of various sizes, shapes and colour. Just let us know what details you would like included and we will be to supply this. All tags are made from anodised aluminium. The details, images and text, are etched into the metal.
WEDDING
Getting married soon? Do you need personalised wedding decorations or favours for the tables? We can provide a range of solutions such as boxes with treats and chocolates, table seating cards, placemats, key chains or bookmarks engraved with the guests names. We can also provide personalised glassware or jewellery such as cufflinks and brooches for the wedding party to commemorate your big day. Just let us know what you would like and we can make it happen.
GIFTS
Personalised gifts can be a great present for those that are close to you but are hard to buy for. We provide a range of ideas for that special person such as personalised beer crate and glasses, jewellery that could be designed by you for them, personalised engraved aluminium coffee plunger, drink bottle or bag tag. For the kids we have a detailed wooden painted dolls house which looks beautiful in the kids room.
SIGNAGE
Do you need laser-cut signs for your business? or kids named art for your home? Previously we have produced signs made from pine for the handcrafted business Jolokia Farm. For the home we have developed personalised wall art for kids bedrooms made from plywood and mdf. At Notch we can make anything to order within the size constraint of 800mm by 450mm.
